About

Stanley has been doing graphic designs since Feb 2008, and his first creation was iBuddha. It was his phenomenal step towards the world of graphic designing and computer arts. His first tool of trade was Paint.NET on a Windows XP console then he moved on to Photoshop on a Macbook. From then on he started going on to Photoshop tutorial sites absorbing new knowledge on his new tool of trade.

He has set up a DeviantART account and started posting art works on DA. His best piece was Outline Folders, this has shown by the exceptionally large number of downloads. He has moved from DA to his own blog in September 2008 – sl05ned.wordpress.com. Through this blog, he has put himself one step closer to real world business. Through out the month or so he has been on his own blog, he found out that SL05NED was too complicated as a name and meant nothing (well actually it does, SL – Stanley Leung. 05 – Jersey Number. NED – Supported National Team). So he has changed the name to SurfaceXCreation, creating graphic products since October 2008.

Due to his passion on graphic design, he chose to study Media Studies as part of his IGCSE course. This Year 10 student (to date: Jan 2009) has learnt not only the skills but also the theory behind the world of media. He has successfully produced an iPod advertisement mockup as his first mini project and has scored an A-. He has also finished his first actual coursework piece, which could be viewed –> here <–, and scored an A for this project.

Apart from DeviantART, Stanley is also part of the Youtube, Behance Network, Twitter and Facebook community. From his amazing stories and experience, Stanley will become an outstanding person in the near future! As I don’t like addressing myself as first person the above has been written in third person by Stanley himself, or ME!!
